Review Detail
Perhaps the product that will be most worth your money is their jeans. Most of their jeans are priced at $69.90 and you can be assured that they are of good quality. They offer different fits such as skinny tapered, slim fit, regular fit and the bootcut. While the selection for guys is quite limited in terms of colours, the womens section offers a more diverse range. Alteration for their pants are also free and you can collect the altered pants within half an hour or so! I am also a fan of their cropped chinos, which seems to be the current trend now.
Other than offering a fashionable range of clothing, Uniqlo also sells functional products, such as Airism and HeatTech. Airism products are made of a thin material that is cooling to the touch, making it suitable for the overwhelmingly hot Singapore weather. It's even cooler once you step into an air-conditioned room! HeatTech basically provides the opposite function - it traps heat, allowing you to stay warm in cold weather. The great thing is that HeatTech material is thin, so you won't feel like you're carrying too much weight. Unfortunately, they only sell these products during certain times of the year. My guess would be that they sell HeatTech during the winter season, so you might want to check them out during the second half of the year.
They also have interesting collaborations with other designers, such as Laura Ashley and Andy Warhol. You can also find designs for kids at some outlets. I believe the outlet at 313 sells kids apparel.
I also love their customer service. Their staff are very friendly and approachable and they are evenly spread out throughout the store. It is always nice to be greeted and have your presence acknowledged when you enter the store.
Overall, if you are looking for plain, basic tees (or polos) or a pair of pants, Uniqlo is your best bet. Anything fancier, I'd recommend Topshop/Topman or F21.

"Good for basic shirts and jeans"
Uniqlo sells a lot of casual clothing and a lot of basic tees. Their clothes can also be easily layered and put together. In this aspect, you are able to personalize your own sense of dressing.
