I had a horrible experience with Delta Airlines during a trip I made to New York.

It was a return flight when the plane that I was originally supposed to board malfunctioned and could not fly. Trains malfunction everyday and I am obviously glad that they discovered the problem during a routine check when the plane was still on the ground and not when we were mid-air, the issue I have with delta was that they managed the situation poorly.

Long story short, after a 5 hour wait they informed us that the flight was cancelled and that they were making arrangements to schedule us for other flights. They took a long time trying to schedule a flight back for us and we all got anxious as most of the passengers had secured seats on other flights out of the airport rather quickly and were all in fact flying off soon while we still had no answer. At last, we were given seats for a flight the next morning. We were all very restless after the wait and uncertainty and that was when they broke the news to us that they had ran out of accommodations for us. So that is the story of how I spent one night in JFK with meals being overpriced packed food and how we did not shower for 48 hours (24 hours in the airport + 24 hours for the flight).

"Horrible "
